The staff was welcoming, the bed was comfy. Breakfast costs GBP 10 per person, worth paying for. The bathroom was clean, onsite parking is available. Staff were very helpful, room was immaculate and a great standard. Can't fault this hotel, would defo stay again. Convenient position, easy parking, pleasant, friendly staff. Very small bar area especially when there is a function; which leaves no where for hotel residents to sit and relax.
The room was of good quality. It felt empty, so quiet that it was uncomforatble. It could sell itself alot better for external business. Room was beautifully well furnished and very confortable, bathroom was luxurious and spotless. Can't fault a thing. Fantastic Shower and Bathroom. Very Comfortable beds. The building was not as luxurious as anticipated. The whole place was a little tired. However the breakfast was excellant. We attended a family wedding which was wonderfully catered for. The reception was lovely and the atual ceremony was very well organised. We enjoyed seeing our extended family and freinds. As there were elderly people and a disabled person the only down side was the lack of a lift. Apart from that the hotel was in a lovely setting and everythings was great.
Awesome room, great value, great location in the Cathedral quarter. Only downside was the dining room was closed at dinner while I was there. But lots of excellent places nearby so not a big deal. Very good staff and a great breakfast. Amazing food. Incredible Venue. Arrival cocktails were a bonus Can not rate highly enough. From booking to breakfast the next morning. The staff was brilliant, David and Peter who helped plan the wedding were always so helpful!
Food was great at the reception, we had the sit down 3course meal. Cannot fault anything.
