Persons with CF should consult their physician before participation in any in-person event as they may be at an increased risk for severe illness from COVID People with CF should maintain a safe 6-foot distance from persons outside of their household at all times.

If you are not fully vaccinated, we invite you to participate virtually if that option exists. We do not plan to ask for you to provide proof of vaccination. We are, however, counting on the fact that you appreciate the potential consequences of exposing members of the CF community to COVID and will abide by this requirement. We cannot guarantee that all people in attendance at the event, including participants, sponsors, volunteers, and vendors, have been fully vaccinated.

He lost his battle to Cystic Fibrosis. I remember being at Methodist Hospital in Houston. I remember knowing that some day we would all have to say goodbye to him. I quickly figured out the basics and the fact that there is no cure. This year was the first in quite some time I was able to make it! Although it was hard to see the purple shirts on kids, teenagers, and adults. It was inspiring to see them taking a role in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Showing support by walking, bringing awareness to their friends and family, and risking their health being there is such powerful thing to see.
