Tir na nog philadelphia happy hour

The staff is attentive and prompt. I never have to ask twice for anything here. The food is exceptional and the atmosphere is electric. The location is choice for the quick and needie before you have to hit the train home at Suburban Station.

Why go anywhere else? This is one of my favorites in the city. Traditional Irish Pub fare, always fresh and well presented. I have never been disappointed with any choice.

I went to Tir Na Nog last week to grab some food and drinks with a friend for her birthday. A couple of days later I realized that I could not find my credit card and that I could have left it there. I was obviously panicked and I just wanted to confirm that it was there so I would not have to cancel it. I called Tir Na Nog and told the girl who answered the phone what happened who couldn't sympathize? She told me, ""Actually, we are really busy right now.

Can you call back tomorrow-day How is that for service? Tir na nog is the best happy hour in town right now. We went with a group of 6 prior to seeing a show. Everything was great and would highly reccomend. Had lunch there with two friends. Service was excellent - food good. I would recommend it to a friend. An overall great place. I have been there several times to meet for a working lunch and the high-top tables with mid-profile separators work well for conversation and to open laptops if needed.

The food was good and service is always good for the most part. Happy Hour is fun and a great place for live music when they have it. It is just a nice, comfortable place to have a drink and meet up with people. Great place to go after the Love Run Half Marathon. Went there for brunch before the St. Patrick's Day parade and it was fantastic! Food was delicious, service was great and the ambiance was perfect. Will definitely go back!! Great food! Great staff! Nice decor.

Unfortunately, it was very noisy. My phone measured to dB--you had to shout into your neighbor's ear to converse; bring noise canceling headphones. We love coming to this fun Irish Pub when we attend lectures not far away. The staff is always welcoming with outstanding service and good food. I don't know how they can achieve such quick results given the crowds which are usually young and happy. Just what one hopes for in an Irish bar! Mary Jane Hurley Brant. Our visit to Tir Na Nog was very enjoyable.

The brunch and regular menus offered many interesting choices. I found the short rib eggs benedict to be very tasty, and the shepherd's pie was rich and flavorful. The staff seemed genuinely happy to welcome us to the restaurant, and our server was friendly and attentive. I will definitely return to Tri Na Nog and highly recommend it as a positive dining experience. He is a huge City fan, and neither of us had ever been to Tir. We were running about mins late for our reservation, so we called and the girl said it was fine.

Then finally a girl saw we looked lost and helped us to a table - it was the last table in the entire place in the rugby section secluded in the corner, NOT the City game section. We had to squint the entire game to see what was going on. The service was AWFUL - I would tell you our waiters name but he never said anything to us other than to take our order 20 minutes after we had been sitting there waiting.

After we ordered he came back 15 mins later to tell me they were out of what i ordered - this was the icing on the cake! I understand it was a busy time, but we even stayed after the games were over for another drink when even that took another minutes to come out.

Luv the menu. Did a happy hour and the food, service and drinks were all great! Thanks to Kate for her help! The location was perfect for our group of 6 to have lunch after a morning of museum-going and before boarding our train. Beer selection included many popular brands and a few local brews. The food menu was limited to brunch selections on Saturday before 3 PM, but we all were able to find something to our liking.

The 3 who had cheesesteaks proclaimed them "very good"; the chicken Caesar salad was huge and satisfying; my shepherd's pie was savory and large enough for leftovers. The restaurant was not crowded when we were there, so we were able to converse easily. Definitely worth another trip next time we're in the Suburban Station vicinity. A very pleasant atmosphere for a reasonable brunch in Center City. Conveniently located next to Suburban Station.

Noise level was extremely loud. Food was very good. Even after happy hour and there were some less people, the noise was deafening! Will not go back. The food has always been good. They have a decent beer selection and the service has been pretty good.

Katie our server was wonderful! Weather was perfect for sitting outside. Other than the very slow service, it's a great place to eat. While in Ireland on an extended vacation a few years ago, we sampled read ate "fish and chips" on many occasions. Some were OK; one was terrible; one was out-of-this-world!

So was the one we had at Tir Na Nog! The batter was light, the fish was cooked and very moist, the portion size was large, but not huge. The chips were done to perfection and the malt vinegar was excellent. All-in-all, a perfect meal. We asked to sit in a quieter location in the restaurant the bar area was really hopping!!

Perhaps that contributed to the slowness of the service. Waitress was helpful and patient. Loud, party atmosphere. Great food and service, excellent beer selection.. Tir Na Nog - Philadelphia offers takeout which you can order by calling the restaurant at Conquista Malbec Mendoza, Argentina.

Weekly Specials. Penne pasta, creamy alfredo sauce, broccoli, mushrooms, grape tomatoes. Guacamole on multigrain toast, topped with radish, bacon, sesame seeds, celery leaf.
